I joined Multiples in 2011, and have now been working for over 10 years in the Indian private equity industry. My career objective is to succeed in a dynamic corporate environment, with a focus on enhancing my knowledge and skills and utilizing them in creating value for the organisation.

At Multiples, I lead the back office of the Fund including compliance, finance, accounting and operations for our funds. While dealing with a wide variety of numbers and reading the fine print of regulations may not excite most people, I greatly enjoy it and believe that it brings out the best in me! I also play a role in the legal documentation relating to fund raising and portfolio investments. Our current multi-sector investment strategy exposes me to several facets of legal, regulatory, tax & accounting for transaction structuring. All these keep me excited to be part of the industry, which I believe adds a significant value to a growing economy.

I come from a background of strong traditional and religious values, making honesty and integrity the foundation of my personal and professional life. My father has always asked me to keep my ‘eyes and ears open’, thus being vigilant, adaptive and open to changing situations. His advice and my value system helps me stay calm and balanced in any challenging situation, and persevere to achieve the desired objective.

Prior to Multiples, I worked as an Associate with IDFC Project Equity for more than four years, primarily involved in fund accounting, prior to which I worked with Hindustan Unilever as a management trainee. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2005 securing the 11th rank on All India basis.

I love to do pencil sketching while at leisure and spend quality time with my family.
